Languages are a big focus at the school and we have recently opened a new, state of the art Languages Centre. We believe learning languages from an early age is beneficial and children therefore start learning French in the Nursery.
French is brought to life through songs and stories, as well as interactive software.
Topics cover everything from greetings to birthdays, time to weather, people to food, transport to weekend, hobbies to school and health to films.
Trips to France are scheduled for the older children every year, enabling them to get involved with a range of fun filled activities, whilst speaking French.
We also celebrate Languages Day at the school, encouraging the celebration of languages and cultures from around the world.
