We encourage our pupils to become active learners and take responsibility towards their independent study. Our two year programme of study takes place in Years 6 and 7 and provides pupils with a range of study skills that they can transfer across the wider curriculum.

The programme covers mind-mapping, memory techniques, strategies for spelling and language vocabulary learning,

planning for revision and planning for non-fiction writing. We also cover multiple intelligences and learning styles.
