Music and Drama play a central role in the life of the school – across lessons, activities, rehearsals, choirs and assemblies. Children love having the opportunity to perform and compete, and this is whole-heartedly encouraged by all members of staff. Music is taught by specialist teachers and children can also choose to learn a musical instrument during their time at school.

Drama productions are scheduled for all year groups throughout the school year. Our Head of Music and Head of English & Drama combine their skills to lead the spectacular productions in the Prep School.

Last year, the children performed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and rehearsals have begun for this year’s performance - The Little Shop of Horrors. The school also takes part in the annual Alderley Edge Music Festival.
