The quality and diversity of our teaching at Terra Nova is well renowned. By combining small class sizes with a broad curriculum, we ensure every child receives the full attention they deserve and need in order to focus on their strengths and work on their weaknesses.
Maths and English are the focus from the early years but Science, Art, ICT, Humanities, Languages, Design & Technology, Music and Drama all form important parts of our children’s education as they progress through the school.
We offer small class sizes, with a maximum of 16 children in Pre-Prep and 18 in the Prep School.
Our broad educational grounding prepares students for their successful entrance to some of the UK’s top independent day and boarding schools, at both 11+ and 13+. Preparation for scholarships and entry examinations form an important part of our school curriculum. And with over 74 pupils receiving scholarships in the last ten years, our approach is clearly working.
