Lydia Tunstall scores a hit at the Festival

Lydia Tunstall in Year 6 has just heard that she has been offered a place in the Alderley Edge Festival String Masterclass in conjunction with the Halle Orchestra.
This is a really great opportunity for her, as it will include solo and ensemble coaching with members of the Halle. During the Alderley Edge Festival Lydia competed in several classes and was placed in the following:
1st Place
Speech Duet Yr 4, 5 & 6 (performed at evening Finale)
String Duet/Trio/Quartet Yr 6 and under (with Sophie Cullis)
Piano Duet Yr 6 and under (with Mary-Kate Rylans)
2nd Place
Vocal Solo Yr 6
Violin/Viola Solo Grade 4 & 5
Verse Speaking (set poem) Yr 6
3rd Place
Drama Solo Yr 6
Violin/Viola Solo Yr 4, 5 & 6
