Sri Lanka Fun Day
29 June 2010
On the Friday before half term the whole School enjoyed Sri Lanka Fun Day.
For a £3 charge the children came to School dressed in home clothes. In the morning there was a cake sale, thanks to Years 1 to 4, who had brought them in to sell at break; while in the afternoon the children had fun with the various activities on offer which included: pony rides, hook a duck, penalty shoot out, nail design, dodgeball Dan and many more. The money raised will be sent to St Joseph's College, Negombo Branch, Sri Lanka, to equip 4 new classrooms for the January intake for 160 new pupils. Thank you to all of you who have given so generously.
